XL Unicorn acquires underwriting capacity building Equine

XL Insurance, the global insurance operations of XL Capital, said “strengthening capacity of equine” With the acquisition of underwriting and claims team based in London, Unicorn Underwriting Limited, a subsidiary THB Group plc.

“The five-person team is led by Guy Morrison, who has over 20 years of underwriting experience in the international market of sickness insurance,” said the bulletin. He became the Chief Underwriting Officer of Equine as XL Insurance Global Operations horse, with underwriting centers in London, Kentucky, United States

XL Insurance said it “has also agreed to use the block of business of bloodstock formerly underwritten by Unicorn.

XL Insurance Global Operations equine “offer a broad spectrum of effectiveness of bloodstock including mortality, theft, perils specialized infertility / prospective foal, availability stallion infertility and loss of income” said the bulletin.
